Psalm 19:1--The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth his handywork.

I wish to apologize to anyone who may be having trouble making comments on my posts. I appreciate your visit so much, and wish I could read what you have to say, but something is going on with my computer, and until I can get the issue addressed, this may continue. Please keep visiting! Also, often I cannot make a comment on some posts I look at, particularly those who ask for me to show I am a guest. I have noticed sometimes someone can only comment in the "Reply" section of another comment...if that's all that works, then that's fine! Let's keep visiting no matter what happens, and know we are touching each other with our creativity and thoughts and images even when we can't get (or leave) feedback. God bless you my dear blogger friends!

Five Anyway

Unable to linkup to Tanya's Willy Nilly Friday Five...please go by and check it out anyway and see everyone else's link.  Linking with Amy's Five on Friday, though, and I hope you will visit there as well!

1.
The dawn sky Thursday morning as I stood on my back deck looking across the ridge.  A lovely way to start the day.
2.  The walls in my new sewing room are mauve, and there was already an iron hanger in place, so the quilt Mom made me went up immediately!  I still have to get that room put together, though.  So much unpacking still left to do!

3.  My aunt, my Mother's only sister, just turned 92.  She is hoping to make it to 100!  I bet she will. This is a picture of her and some friends at the Oak Grove Inn Senior Living Center where she lives...she is the second from the left.

We have a lot of longevity in our family.  I'm not sure I want to make it to 100, but both my great grandmother and great-great grandmother did, and my grandmother made it to 92, I think.  My Mom is 83, and doing fantastic...many of you know her of course as Latane on Living Life on Main Street.

My great-great-grandmother at 100 with me on her lap!  She remembered the War Between the States when she was a child!

My great-grandmother....don't you love that hat!

Mom with my brother from a recent visit.
4.  I have a very dear friend who was just diagnosed with lung cancer.  It is inoperable, but they are looking into chemo and radiation.  Please help me pray for Myra and her husband Dave.

5.  Am holding off on starting a new blog.  There may be some issues with my computer itself that is causing the problems.  Just decided to wait.  If you can't comment on my blog, I am so sorry!!!!!  Just know how much I appreciate your visit!  I hope you will continue to do so.
