Psalm 19:1--The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth his handywork.

I wish to apologize to anyone who may be having trouble making comments on my posts. I appreciate your visit so much, and wish I could read what you have to say, but something is going on with my computer, and until I can get the issue addressed, this may continue. Please keep visiting! Also, often I cannot make a comment on some posts I look at, particularly those who ask for me to show I am a guest. I have noticed sometimes someone can only comment in the "Reply" section of another comment...if that's all that works, then that's fine! Let's keep visiting no matter what happens, and know we are touching each other with our creativity and thoughts and images even when we can't get (or leave) feedback. God bless you my dear blogger friends!

Western Themed Murals

For Monday's Murals I want to share with you these murals on a feed and seed and tack, etc. store.  I felt that they were very nicely done!  Unfortunately I didn't see a signature on any of the paintings.  Hope you all are doing well!  I took a break, and also have not participated in Mondays Murals in a few weeks....click on the link to see some amazing murals!  It's always such a treat!

I didn't notice the little "extras" at first...on this one, a quail family near the bottom....
for this one, notice the javelina running, with something small chasing it! :-)

Caribbean Food!

Here is my Monday's Murals this week.  Love all the wonderful murals posted on this meme...check them out!  You won't be sorry!  This is a pretty small mural but he's so attractive, I had to include this wonderful parrot...

Sign over the entrance to the restaurant.  Haven't eaten there, but it's not far from Blue Willow on Grant.

Blue Willow

This lovely little breakfast and lunch spot with gift shop is located on Campbell  near Grant (in mid-west Tucson) and it has a delightful mural on the back wall.  (My favorite dish colors!) I am joining in to Mondays Murals today as I share this...click on the link and check them out!

Mural on a Home

I enjoy participating in this meme as I have found a number of great murals around Tucson.  Here's one I found on the side of a house. For more great murals, click HERE!
Love the colors!  Someone wanted to create a bright beautiful area on their home!

My First Monday's Mural!

The big attraction in Winslow, AZ is of course the amazing mural depicting the girl in the flatbed ford and the eagle (because its an Eagles song) and the couple in the upper window.  Standin' on the Corner in Winslow, AZ is beautifully depicted.  Here are the photos I already posted concerning this tourist attraction.....

But what I didn't show you was the mural painted on the other side of the wall ( a little worse for wear!), where the building had burned and where there is now a small park.

For My Snowbound Friends....

I LOVE snow.  I would get excited every time we had a first snow in all those years of living in Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina and even Texas.  But, I don't care much for cold weather.  One or two snows a season, and I'm done.  It got REALLY cold here...we had about four nights of hard freezes.  Well that's REALLY cold by Tucson standards! :-)   And then as the cold air moved East, it warmed up beautifully.  Today it was in the 70s!  Children were out riding their bicycles all over the neighborhood!  I didn't think about taking a picture until about five PM when I saw a little girl ride by.

She's wearing a sleeveless top.  It's like spring in January!  A week ago, at 5 pm I had on my heavy coat!  Today I worked in the garden, trying to get it ready for spring planting.  I even saw a tiny yellow butterfly!  I couldn't believe it.  I'll be sharing some garden pictures in the not too distant future.  Earlier this afternoon, I made a run to the grocery store for a few things, and took a few pictures.  I thought it might be a good time to share some of my mailbox shots, and some yard art:
I've always admired these lovely butterflies.

This house has a lot going on...flags, yard art, and a mural!

Another view of the same house.

Close-up of the mural.

This is one great mailbox! Check out that mohawk!

Sweet pansies.

Deer skull in front of my saguaro.
It may get cold again, and I'll be covering up my tender plants.  The plumeria is still inside, just in case.  But, I'm really ready for spring and I know I will be seeing it much sooner than many of you.  Just hope any flower, garden, butterfly, etc pictures I post bring you some joy right now.  Several of you said so when I posted the lemons, and again the roses.  So, I'll keep it up.  Just consider me your Sunshine Sally right now! :-)
