I wish to apologize to anyone who may be having trouble making comments on my posts. I appreciate your visit so much, and wish I could read what you have to say, but something is going on with my computer, and until I can get the issue addressed, this may continue. Please keep visiting! Also, often I cannot make a comment on some posts I look at, particularly those who ask for me to show I am a guest. I have noticed sometimes someone can only comment in the "Reply" section of another comment...if that's all that works, then that's fine! Let's keep visiting no matter what happens, and know we are touching each other with our creativity and thoughts and images even when we can't get (or leave) feedback. The Ranch House Barn

This is where it started...Crooked River Ranch, a cattle ranch owned by a man named William Gates back around 1910. Today at over 10,000 acres CRR is the largest planned community in Oregon. The original ranch house and barn structures still stand...Joining in with Tom's Barn Collective today:

Mountain Chickadees

I have a new bird to share. We actually had two new birds feeding at the suet feeder I put out, but I will save the other one for another day. This lovely little creature is the Mountain Chickadee. Sharing with Anni's Bird d'Pot and later with Stewart's Wild Bird Wednesday.

Close Visitor!

Where we live now there are a lot of mountain lions...so many in fact, it is not against the law to kill them. Yes, we had cougars in Tucson, even in neighborhoods on the outskirts of the city, but it is a little different here. I belong to a Next Door online site that is really wonderful for getting neighborhood info out there...two days ago a woman posted that she was taking a bath at 4:50 am and heard this sound just on the other side of the wall of her home....less than two miles from my own house! She posted this critter cam footage she got off You Tube to let people know what it sounded like....

Probably a female in heat, is my guess. It's that time of year. Can you say "Nervous???" :-) Joining in with Eileen's Saturday's Critters.

A Crooked River Ranch Barn

It's so nice to be able to "collect" barns for Tom's Barn Collective! Now I live where I can find them. This one is on the way out from our house toward Terrebonne in Crooked River Ranch where we live. I loved the way the mountains looked behind it. Also joining in with Mersad's Through My Lens with this look at Central Oregon country living.
