Psalm 19:1--The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth his handywork.

I wish to apologize to anyone who may be having trouble making comments on my posts. I appreciate your visit so much, and wish I could read what you have to say, but something is going on with my computer, and until I can get the issue addressed, this may continue. Please keep visiting! Also, often I cannot make a comment on some posts I look at, particularly those who ask for me to show I am a guest. I have noticed sometimes someone can only comment in the "Reply" section of another comment...if that's all that works, then that's fine! Let's keep visiting no matter what happens, and know we are touching each other with our creativity and thoughts and images even when we can't get (or leave) feedback. God bless you my dear blogger friends!

Three More Barns

As we slip into winter in Central Oregon, we have been seeing a little snow now.  Just a little.  But just previous to that, I managed to get photos of three more barns for Tom's Barn Collective:

Barn in the Canyon in Fall

This is now being rendered as an oil painting (I will share that later) but I took this photo at a friend's house the other day.  She lives down inside the canyon at Crooked River Ranch.  Sharing with Tom's Barn Collective.

North Central Oregon barns, on the fly

I'm back after a break.  Since I didn't get everything accomplished that I'd hoped, I may be taking another break in a couple of weeks, but in the meantime I have some photos to share!  We were recently in Vancouver and then Maryhill Washington.  On the way home I took a few shots "on the fly" of a few of the North Central Oregon barns we saw.  Joining in with Tom's Barn Collective:

Barns Nearby

We took a drive one morning around Terrebonne, trying to get out ahead of the heat and I have some wonderful photos to share in two or three posts.  First, the three barns for Tom's Barn Collective:

Terrebonne Barns

On a lovely morning drive recently we were able to get some nice photos of the surrounding area, including several barns.  Here are a few for Tom's Barn Collective:

Love the green color of this one!

Horses and Barns

Oh what lovely pastoral scenes in Terrebonne (a name that I think means "good land")….joining in today with Eileen's Saturday Critters and then with Tom's Barn Collective:

I shared this homestead barn last year but then there were no horses in the paddock.

This farm has a huge house and barns and I see it every time I drive out to town but have never taken any photos.  The irrigation wheels caught my better focus in this shot, but at least it gives you an idea of what the barns look like.

Coastal Barns

Three of the barns we saw on our trip back from the Oregon Coast, and one closer to home-- joining Tom's Barn Collective:

This looks like an old house that has been added onto and has become a barn

Back home...such an interesting barn!

A Few Barns

Joining with Tom's Barn Collective today.  Well, I could  have taken at least thirty great barn pictures on our long weekend trip, but alas it would have made a six hour drive turn into seven or eight hours if we had found a way to stop and get a better vantage point for the shots.  Instead we whizzed by them, my heart just sinking with each one lost!  Some of them were GEMS!  So I vow to try to do better if we go back that way again.  We were heading NW toward Salem and then on past Salem into the Willamette Valley and the Pacific coast then on up 101 a bit inland on that first day.  These are the first three of a few shots were taken by a very frustrated barn photographer (me) a couple of days later on the trip back a different way, mostly on the fly out the car window....

My husband did stop on the side of the highway to take this one still picture for me though!

That Boxy Barn

Have a Blessed Easter!!!
I didn't get good pictures of it the first time so I had to brave the traffic on the highway to stop on the shoulder and try again...with this result.  Joining in with Tom's Barn Collective, not only with the photos but also with the watercolor painting that then transpired:
