Almost Blue

I know the blue moon isn't really BLUE and I am posting this photo as part of a Blue Monday post (join in with Sally!) but I couldn't resist.  It was one night shy of the actual Blue Moon, and we have had so much cloud cover, I wasn't sure I could get the shot on the actual night (I couldn't have!) so here is an "almost" Blue Moon:

Also, a few other desert blues....

The blue sky behind the tail end of the Rattlesnake Walkover, Tucson AZ

The smoky silhouette of the Baboquivari Mountain, sacred to the Tohono O'Idham Nation.

A blue gate at a shop in Tubac

The blue Santa Catalina Mountains

A turquoise blue Kokopeli

Great "blue" day. I like your new header! We may start thinking of you as the Hawk Lady!

I just think if people in charge are going to call it a blue moon it just ought to be blue don't ya think--haha
Even though I know better when I go outside to look at it I think 'blue'.
The clouds in your photo accent the moon---very nice.
