I know the blue moon isn't really BLUE and I am posting this photo as part of a
Blue Monday post (join in with Sally!) but I couldn't resist. It was one night shy of the actual Blue Moon, and we have had so much cloud cover, I wasn't sure I could get the shot on the actual night (I couldn't have!) so here is an "almost" Blue Moon:
Also, a few other desert blues....

Hi Marie,
So many pretty and interesting blues. Thanks for playing today.
Please come back and tell me what you think of my Blue post.
Happy Blue Monday!
Hello Marie, pretty capture of the blue moon. Lovely views of the mountains. I would like to check out that shop with the blue gate, looks like they have some neat stuff! Happy Monday, enjoy your new week!
Blue is a glad color!
So many beautiful blues! It was fun having a "blue moon" last month!
Great "blue" day. I like your new header! We may start thinking of you as the Hawk Lady!
No worry, you shared very interesting and variety of blues. That rattlesnake tail is different.
Pretty blue pictures :-) Of course the blue moon counts! Great shot of it; it was so beautiful the other night.
Great combination of blue shots! That blue moon has been spectacular!
A beautiful collection of blues! My favorite color.
Gorgeous shot of the hawk in your header photo. :)
I just think if people in charge are going to call it a blue moon it just ought to be blue don't ya think--haha
Even though I know better when I go outside to look at it I think 'blue'.
The clouds in your photo accent the moon---very nice.
Blue is my favorite color! You found a great variety of blue things!
Great pictures and I like that header photo!
Gorgeous captures! Always fun to check everyone's blues out! Thanks for sharing a variety. Have a good week!
Intriguing variety of blues. The rattlesnake's tail is amazing.
I like all of the photos but the pottery chickens are so neat to see.
